Employee Contract Type: Local - Fixed Term Employee (Fixed Term) Job Description: Coordination ·         Engage with other NGOs and UN organizations to ensure effective leverage of resources. ·         Participate in regular project reviews in conjunction with the SMoH and CHD ·         Coordinate with other sectors (Nutrition, WASH, FSL, protection), departments and projects to ensure integrated approach to project management. ·         Manage proactive and responsive relationship with county authorities. ·         Attend county level government and humanitarian coordination meetings. Program Implementation Provide leadership in the implementation of Primary Health Care and nutrition services in the County as guided by the project objectives, logical framework and work plan. Manage proactive and responsive relationship with the county health department and authorities in close collaboration with the Project Manager. Improve Maternal and Child Health indicators and EPI coverage in the County. Ensure HF conduct EPI outreaches. Ensure use of the SMOH data collection and reporting tools by all HFs In liaison with CHD conduct weekly, monthly and quarterly supervisory visits to the health and nutrition facilities. Order supplies from WHO/UNFPA. Respond to adhoc project and donor requests . Support CHD staff and build capacity of health workers to manage health and nutrition activities. Carry out additional responsibilities and projects as assigned, including administrative and planning functions.   MEAL/Reporting ·         Write weekly reports every Thursday by 4pm ·         Report all incidences affecting service delivery to project manager within 24hours ·         Ensure reporting tools for health and nutrition are available at the health and nutrition sites. ·         Provide monthly, narrative, ITT, NIS by 8th of every month. ·         Provide health supplies stock reports to the project manager. ·         Provide Monthly and quarterly reports including success stories by 5th of every quarter ·         Monitor the project assets and ensure they are well tagged ·         Support in routine assessments and monitor health and nutrition trends to inform programming. ·         Conduct quarterly joint support supervision with CHD. ·         Conduct quarterly QOC assessments at the HFs. Staff/Budget Management Staff and Budget Management Directly manage health and nutrition facilities staff by developing performance objectives and appraisals. Support the CHD to ensure qualified staff are recruited into existing positions. Ensure HF staff files are well kept and updated at all times at the CHD. Ensure health and nutrition facility staff have JDs Develop staff development and leave plans Ensure staff adhere to WV policies Provide on job coaching and mentorship to staff on weekly basis. Work closely with the CHD to prepare payrolls Work with project staff to request and settle advances. Liaise with finance to ensure timely payment of project activities. Conduct monthly Budget versus Actual Expenditure. Qualifications/Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience. The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:   Minimum Qualification required: ·         A degree in Clinical Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, Nutrition or related field. ·         At least 5years of professional experience, out of which at least 2 years in emergency response. ·         Prior experience in project design, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of health and nutrition projects. ·         Prior working experience in managing emergency health and nutrition projects, preferably, SSHF. ·         Experience supervising health and community nutrition workers and volunteers. ·         Basic experience in procurement and supply, and management of pharmaceuticals ·         Flexibility, ability to multitask, ability to handle pressure well and meet deadlines, ability to improvise ·         Work experience should demonstrate understanding of the South Sudan’s BPHN and BHI. ·         Strong working understanding of community health and nutrition interventions (CMAM, MIYCN) ·         Demonstrated application of Do No Harm, including understanding of intended and unintended consequences of gender equality and social inclusion interventions, and risk mitigation approaches. ·         Excellent work experience in training facilitation and mentoring. ·         Motorcycle riding license. ·         Effective in written and verbal communication in English. ·         Speaks fluent local language/ Arabic language.
