About the Team The Finance team at Workday manages International accounting and compliance, representing over 75 nationalities. The team focuses on clear communication, collaboration, and supporting career development in a practical work environment. About the Role The Senior Accountant will manage annual financial close processes, prepare and review statutory accounts, and ensure compliance with international accounting standards. The role also involves leading accounting projects, improving compliance processes, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities Prepare trial balances and statutory financial statements for multiple international entities. Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and local accounting standards. Coordinate with auditors, tax, legal, and finance teams to meet reporting deadlines. Support accounting projects to improve processes and efficiency. Lead compliance-related tasks and projects, managing timelines and deliverables. Point of escalation for any compliance issues internally or externally with timely resolutions obtained. Take lead in accounting and compliance related projects to bring continuous improvement, with an ability to manage deliverables, communicate outcomes and have overall oversight. About You You are a self-starter and excellent communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, diverse, and collaborative Shared Services Centre environment. You enjoy solving complex problems, driving process improvements, and contributing to a team where inclusivity, mutual respect, and growth are valued. Basic Qualifications ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified 7+ years post-qualification experience, with international accounting exposure Shared Services or global accounting experience preferred Other Qualifications Strong technical accounting knowledge across US GAAP, IFRS, and local standards Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on deadlines Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Clear communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams Flexibility to work across time zones Our Approach to Flexible Work   With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
