You will be joining the Evisort AI team, which functions as a startup within Workday. About the Role Evisort Engineering is expanding and we are looking for a Software Development Engineer (Full Stack) to join our team. As such, you will work with a multidisciplinary team of highly skilled engineers, in close collaboration with your Product and Design partners, with the goal of maintaining and expanding our best-in-class contract management offerings. Your technical expertise and ability to work collaboratively so that the sum is greater than the parts will be crucial in realizing our ambitious vision to deliver best-in-class-AI at scale, to transform how major companies optimize and streamline key business processes related to negotiating and managing their contracts. Your role will be instrumental in advancing our AI initiatives and delivering exceptional value to corporate legal departments and business professionals world-wide. You will: Partner closely with engineering, data science, product management, and design teams to build on the vision, strategy and roadmap Participate in a collaborative team culture that encourages iteration and innovation, and a deep understanding of both our business domain and of engineering practices to steer engineering decisions Have a major impact on the professional growth and productivity levels of your teammates through design and code reviews, technical guidance, and mentoring Be part of a team that will own several functional areas of our platform (“you build it, you run it”) We’re looking for dedicated people who love a fast-paced environment, want to ship customer value early and often, and make an impact with groundbreaking ideas. The right candidate for this role is a problem solver first and foremost - they should enjoy tackling challenging problems, coming up with creative solutions, and guiding and teaching their counterparts and teammates about how to utilize their solutions. About You B asic Qualifications 6+ years of experience in software engineering Highly proficient in Python and a Python web framework (FastAPI, Flask, or Django) Highly proficient in PostgreSQL with a strong understanding of performance optimization and scaling strategies Experienced in building and operating SaaS products in cloud environments (AWS preferred) Advanced knowledge of modern software development practices (devops, automated testing, observability, etc) Proficient in the use of Elasticsearch Proficient in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Other Qualifications Experienced in the technologies and tradeoffs involved in building modern distributed systems Familiarity with multiple programming languages such as Java (backend) and Typescript (frontend or full stack) a plus Familiarity with non-relational databases such as DynamoDB and Redis a plus Proven success working in cross-functional, agile teams in fast-paced environments Highly effective communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with legal professionals Eager to work openly and collaboratively with a diverse team Comfortable navigating ambiguity to turn hard problems into clear and compelling solutions through reasoning and research Our Approach to Flexible Work   With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
