Team Leader - MNCH, Nutrition and GHS SI The Team Leader – Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH), Nutrition, and Global Health Security(GHS) Strategic Information (SI) is responsible for leading and managing the Strategic Information (SI) of EpiC Nepal that includes Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) of project activities, Integrated Health Information Management System (IHIMS), District Health Information System (DHIS2), research and surveillance related activities for EpiC Nepal. The Team Leader–MNCH, Nutrition and GHS will work closely with other units of EpiC Nepal and provides technical assistance (TA) to its implementing partner agencies (IPs), Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) and other collaborating partners in a structured, systematic and effective manner. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES   Lead the EpiC Nepal MNCH, Nutrition, and GHS Strategic Information (SI) Unit. Develop, update, and implement Performance Monitoring & Evaluation Plan (PMEP) plans and systems for the project and its implementing partners (IPs) and ensuring commitments and targets are reflected in PMEP and IP sub-agreements and met on time. Ensure M&E systems measure long-term accomplishments, subproject progress, monitoring needs, and reporting requirements of donors, MoHP, and other stakeholders. Contribute to regional operational plans, annual and quarterly work plans. Provide technical assistance (TA) to IHIMS/DHIS2, Maternal and Perinatal Death Surveillance and Response (MPDSR), and other reporting/surveillance systems. Lead TA to the Family Welfare Division (FWD) for national-level Routine Data Quality Assessments (DQA). Coordinate SI-related technical assistance activities requested by USG partners, UN agencies, and other stakeholder Support development and improvement of dashboards associated with government data systems. Develop and revise data collection and reporting systems/tools. Lead and coordinate DQA planning, implementation, field visits, and reporting for EpiC Nepal and IPs. Perform and promote a culture of data analysis, visualization, and evidence-based use for program performance improvement. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of data reporting across all levels. Lead development, revision, and implementation of M&E training curricula, manuals, and materials for EpiC Nepal staff, IPs, and government counterparts. Provide supportive supervision, monitoring, and onsite coaching to IPs in M&E-related activities. Build capacity of IP staff to monitor activities through quarterly reviews, process monitoring, DQA, qualitative monitoring, and documentation of lessons learned. Develop and execute field monitoring plans for project staff. Provide ongoing support to IPs for monitoring subprojects and activities. Lead design, planning, implementation, and monitoring of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives. Ensure supportive supervision and progress assessment of IPs. Create data-driven presentations for reports, monthly/quarterly review meetings, and other forums. Coordinate and collaborate with national/regional stakeholders for sharing/review meetings and joint monitoring visits. Represent EpiC Nepal in external functions at national, regional, and district levels. Document lessons learned, good practices, and ensure dissemination across stakeholders. Perform other related responsibilities as assigned by the Country Representative/Project Director. REQUIREMENTS Master's degree in public health or Epidemiology or other relevant subject with five years’ of work experience in IHIMS/DHIS2, GIS and SI systems including data collection and analysis or bachelor's degree in public health Epidemiology or other relevant subject with eight years of experience on SI systems and online recording and reporting system. Proven quantitative and qualitative data analysis and interpretation skills Able to work in a collaborative environment Resourceful in resolving problems and initiating solutions  Proactive in managing multiple tasks, managing and working in virtual work environment, and flexible and open for managing time working with different teams in different time zones as needed. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, team building and management, and problem-solving skills. Excellent oral and written English and Nepali including documentation skills.
