Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Senior Principal Financial Analyst (Level 4) to join us in the pursuit of top-tier financial performance. This position is located onsite in El Segundo, CA and will report to the M anager of F inancial R eporting and A ccounting and will have the following responsibilities:   Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting data and analysis in support of the company’s U.S. Securit ies and Exchange Commission (SEC) disclosure requirements   Analyze sector-level and program balance sheet and P&L , including, but not limited to: program sales and operating margin fluctuations, home office transactions, accounting for non-routine transactions, analysis of significant balance sheet accounts, and other a d hoc analytical requests  Coordinate with functional , program, and division personnel to drive process changes and resolve Sector wide issues Coordinate with the finance and business management teams to develop strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the financial reporting process D evelop presentations and work papers to support and inform Division and Sector leadership   Prepare non-routine journal entries in S 4 HANA and HFM   Support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and documentation   Liaise with auditors by providing requested PBC items and thoroughly responding to questions in support of the audit Support special projects on an ad hoc basis  Mentor and act as a resource to junior members of the team Basic Qualifications:    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related discipline with 8 years of accounting, audit, and/or business management experience, or a Master's degree with 6 years of stated experience Public Accounting experience (each year of relevant Public Accounting experience counts for 2 years of experience above) Strong problem solving and analytical skills CPA License/CPA Candidate in the near term     Preferred Qualifications:    Aerospace and Defense Industry experience Experience with SAP/S4 HANA and/or HFM  SEC reporting experience Excellent knowledge of US GAAP  Active DoD Secret clearance We offer flexible work arrangements, phenomenal learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly team environment. Primary Level Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
