Space Systems is searching for an experienced Systems Engineer - Level 5 to join the Program Engineering Management (PEM) team supporting the Avionics Design Group (ADG) within the Launch Vehicles (LV) business unit located in Chandler, AZ. This position is 100% onsite. Relocation Assistance may be available. This role will utilize a broad, and deep background in the Aerospace & Defense industry with experience leading multi-disciplined engineering teams to complete avionics development programs. Essential Functions: Manage engineering development programs, including integrated scheduling and program execution Provide technical leadership of the multidisciplinary engineering team to support the manufacturing, test, and troubleshooting of NG LV common avionics components in time to meet operations deadlines Ensure that technical issues are resolved in timely fashion to minimize disruption of production activities and leads efforts to streamline and improve efficiency Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to solve complex issues related to engineering and program management Collaborate with other NG functional groups outside of ADG, including Configuration Management, Quality, Mission Assurance, Procurement and Manufacturing Provide written and verbal status reports to internal management, communicating technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical personnel Assess and evaluate the life cycle of avionics products and how they are implemented in the Launch Vehicle Work with LV managers and directors to propose and execute new avionics design efforts. Northrop Grumman Total Rewards   Primary Level Salary Range: $139,000.00 - $208,600.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
