Job Description:     Become a member of the Americas Deal Desk organization responsible for providing competitive pricing analysis and information on Enterprise Server, Storage and Networking Solutions as well as Service products to support the field sales efforts in winning business. The team's focus is on balancing the needs of the Business Units and the Sales Organization to ensure increased market share at acceptable profit levels. In this role, you will apply advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues and be relied upon to exercise significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to achieve desired results How you will make your mark: Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader, directing team activities and facilitating information validation and team decision-making process. Exercises independent judgment to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice to make decisions on complex business issues. About you: Bachelor’s degree in a related area of study with typically 4 - 7 years’ experience, master’s degree desirable. Industrial: Engineering, Marketing, finance, operations, Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of pricing strategies, such as value-based pricing, dynamic pricing, and competitive pricing. Experience in applying business and sales processing tools, systems, and practices to various situations. Business acumen and knowledge of local markets. Strong quantitative skills and be able to analyze large datasets. Experience in applying the basic foundation of a function's principles, theories, and concepts to assignments of limited scope. Mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate sales processing plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at management levels.
