We’re seeking someone to join our FRPPE Tech team as a Senior AI Engineer, in Finance Technology to focus on building our AI Development Platform and to drive adoption of AI capabilities throughout the enterprise. In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is Director position that develops and maintains software solutions that support business needs. What you’ll do in the role: If you are passionate about Generative AI, Java, and cloud-native architectures, and have hands-on experience delivering solutions in the financial domain, we want to connect with you. Architect secure, robust, and scalable components for a next-generation AI platform. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications and architecture. Lead integration of 3rd-party platforms, conduct build vs. buy analyses, and drive automated testing for reliability and security. Implement DevOps practices and mentor fellow engineers. Work closely with developers to enhance the AI development experience. What you’ll bring to the role: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience). You bring 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience (including at least 3 years architecting distributed systems). Total 6+ years of software development which include 3+ years architecting distributed systems, 2+ years building AI applications (GenAI/LLM-based apps). You are highly proficient in Java and Generative AI, and have worked extensively in live projects. Experience with cloud-native products/platforms (microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka), data engineering, DevOps, CI/CD. Financial services domain experience is required; Python/UI development is a plus. You demonstrate technical leadership, collaboration, and a drive for innovation and efficiency.
