Otis is growing and we are recruiting a Service Supervisor for our Field Service team, in the XYZ territory or business, reporting to the XYZ manager. The main goal of the role is to provide day-to-day management, training, and engagement for field staff, including employee selection, field training and safety. This individual will also lead operational efforts and ensure superior customer satisfaction. On a typical day you will: Ensure field employee safety, quality and compliance Meet with customers to ensure obligations and expectations are achieved Direct the performance of field maintenance and contractual service operations Conduct field education training with field workforce Maintain customer quality assurance, managing the expenditure of labor and materials Improve efficiencies, managing route schedules and callback rates Provide technical support, working with Service Sales on sales estimation / proposals as required Authorize repair orders and tracking completion Lead change to better efficiency and communication What you will need to be successful (adjust for local regulations) High school education required; BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience (at least 3 years) Experience leading a team of technicians is preferred Elevator industry experience is desired, but not required Experience with digital applications for managing work teams and products Excellent communication skills and leadership skills, and the ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment Strong computer and technology skills, business acumen and a passion for customer service.
