Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is looking for a Systems/Principal Engineer Systems based out of Huntsville, Alabama for the CBAD Efforts. **this requisition is contingent upon funding/award This requisition may be filled based on qualifications listed below: Basic Qualifications: Level 3: Principal: 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Years with PhD. Level 2: 2 Years with Bachelors in Science: 1 Year with a Masters Must have test and evaluation knowledge Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering Experience with Cameo or MagicDraw Proven ability to comprehend/develop/decompose System Architecture and System Requirements (from System Specifications high-level requirements to the lowest level) in a model-based environment Experience with Requirements Impact Assessments, Change Requests, and Engineering Change Proposals Proven ability to understand software systems interface documentation, interconnect diagrams, military standards Active Secret Clearance required to start Preferred Qualifications: Technical experience with IAMD:  C2 with understanding of weapons, sensors, distributed computing and these systems' impact on a command-and-control system's architecture, requirements, and interfaces for communications between these systems Systems Engineering Experience in an Agile environment Experience with Jira IBCS experience preferred Link-16 Experience Familiarity with weapon systems and sensors such as: PATRIOT, Sentinel, G/ATOR, etc. - #HSVNov13 Primary Level Salary Range: $87,600.00 - $131,400.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $105,400.00 - $158,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
