Job Description:     We are seeking a motivated Engineer to join our Core Infrastructure Tooling team. In this role, you will support and maintain our source code management systems, code review infrastructure, and developer sandbox environments that serve over 1,000 developers across multiple sites. You'll work with SVN, Gerrit, Git, and various development tooling platforms to ensure smooth workflows for software engineers working on enterprise-scale networking platforms. Education and Experience Required: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent * Typically 2-4 years of relevant experience Knowledge and Skills: * Strong understanding of Git fundamentals (branching, merging, rebasing, conflict resolution) * Strong programming experience in Python, GoLang, and shell scripting * Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration, REST APIs and webhooks, configuration management tools (Ansible and Puppet) * Experience with build automation, continuous integration, and deployment processes * Understanding of monorepo concepts and large-scale repository management (sparse checkout and partial clones) * Understanding of version control concepts and workflows Additional Qualifications: * Exposure to Gerrit customization, plugin and extension development * Familiarity with AI-tooling (GitHub Copilot, Cursor) Additional Skills: Cloud Architectures, Cross Domain Knowledge, Design Thinking, Development Fundamentals, DevOps, Distributed Computing, Microservices Fluency, Full Stack Development, Security-First Mindset, Solutions Design, Testing & Automation, User Experience (UX) What We Can Offer You: Health & Wellbeing We strive to provide our team members and their loved ones with a comprehensive suite of benefits that supports their physical, financial and emotional wellbeing.
