Job Description: Business Overview The Marketing Division leads brand, creative, marketing, and membership as a cross-group organization with a mission to expand Rakuten Group's membership value and ecosystem of over 70 services. We believe that the mobile domain is a platform that plays a fundamental role in the ecosystem, and as the Marketing Division, we are further promoting collaboration with Rakuten Mobile. Department Overview Marketing UX department is responsible for all UI/UX of Rakuten Mobile that customers can see on our website. In the 3 years since the service started, our team has been evolved with the mission of improving the service with constant watching and analyzing the market and users’ trends. We have members of a wide range of age groups, and we have a team environment where you can casually have discussions with others. In our department, you can create and make services better on your own with various challenges and a sense of accomplishment without inertia or giving up. Position: Why We Hire For additional hiring to strengthen the web design due to business expansion Position Details - Website production of Rakuten Mobile and related products and services. - Cooperation with Web director, Frontend Engineer, DTP-designer, and business unit. - Cooperation with designers in other Rakuten services. - Creation of new web designs, updates, and modifications. - Qualitative and quantitative research analysis such as user surveys. - Strategic UI proposal based on the hypothesis that will solve customer or business issues. - Create, supervise, and oversee the creation of visuals that match the service. Work Environment 14 members Mandatory Qualifications: - At least 3 years work experience as website designer. (portfolio required) - Familiarity with UI design and prototyping tools. (Sketch, Prott, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) - Knowledge and experience of supervising and design direction. - Knowledge of useability, accessibility, and frontend. - Communication skills.  - Japanese language skills. (business-level conversation, reading and writing) Desired Qualifications: - Knowledge and experience of creating and operating design system. - Art direction skill. - Experience of DTP design or collaboration with DTP design when you design both online/offline.
