Job Description: Business Overview While working for Rakuten Group, Inc. you will be responsible for the operation of Rakuten Mobile.     This division has entered the carrier business with innovative technology and forward-thinking spirit, and continues to take on the challenge of providing attractive services.   In order to create innovative services of a global standard, the company promotes the creation of systems and environments that enable each individual to challenge his or her own potential to the fullest and expand his or her field of activity.   Department Overview To provide high-quality mobile communication services at reasonable prices, Rakuten Mobile is the fourth MNO (mobile network operator) approved in Japan for the first time in 13 years. In August 2021, it exceeded 5 million lines and is growing rapidly.   Full-scale provision of services to corporations began in January 2023, and large-scale investments are being made as core businesses that will support the growth of the Rakuten Group in the future.     This department will be responsible for providing solutions focused on mobile services for corporate customers. You will be participating in the business as a core member for business expansion.   Position: Why We Hire Increased number of employees due to organizational expansion   Position Details Planning of products and services for corporate customers, ranging from mobile voice/data lines for general corporate customers to products and services unique to Rakuten Mobile for corporate customers,   You will be mainly responsible for the management of the Sales Planning Section, which is responsible for strategic planning and sales planning for a combination of third party services and corporate services of Rakuten Group companies.   We are looking for someone who wants to create new services that are not offered by existing carriers, and who wants to create plans that are unique to Rakuten and can only be done by Rakuten.   Specific business content ‐ Team Management   - Develop service strategies for corporate business, and plan products and services.   - Review legal and financial business requirements, simulate service revenue and expenditure, and compile budgets and personnel plans.   - Collaborate with Rakuten Group companies to plan and promote new businesses in the B2B domain that leverage Rakuten's economic sphere.   - Develop new sales channels and services in collaboration with other industries, not limited to telecommunication services.   - Develop new sales channels and services in collaboration with people in other industries, not only telecommunication services.   - Collaborating with vendors to provide sales support and negotiate terms and conditions.   - Planning of sales strategies, including solution development and target customer identification, and preparation of service proposals   - Organize seminars for external customers, etc.   Mandatory Qualifications: - Management experience (over 30 people)   - Experience in service planning in the telecommunications/carrier industry   - Sales experience in a telecommunications wide-area agency or experience in product planning and development   - Sales experience in a SaaS company, or experience in product planning and development, or experience in introducing services to carriers   Desired Qualifications: - Project management experience   - Business-level English proficiency Additionally, at least 5 years of experience in one of the following corporate business areas:   - Experience in launching collaborative business with other companies   - Experience in telecommunications industry   -E xperience in introducing services to the enterprise and SMB segments.   - Leadership and ability to involve others   #business #serviceplanner #director #projectmanager #operationdiv #RakutenMobile Languages: English (Overall - 4 - Fluent), Japanese (Overall - 4 - Fluent)
