Department Overview Rakuten Travel, Japan's largest online travel agency, aims to enrich people's lives through travel. To this end, the mission of the Marketing Department is to communicate the value of Rakuten Travel's services to domestic and international travelers through the most appropriate means of marketing approach and to increase the number of Rakuten Travel fans. Our goal is to turn Japanese travelers as well as travelers from all over the world into Rakuten Travel fans.     Position: Why We Hire At Rakuten Travel, we are expanding our team to support the growth of our business and to meet the increasing demands of our expanding media presence. Through this hiring initiative, we aim to augment our workforce, filling essential vacancies and ensuring that we have the talent and capacity necessary to sustain our trajectory of growth and innovation. Position Details - Develop and execute SEM and Display campaigns to drive growth for hotels and ryokans in Japan and elsewhere as our product scope expands - Conduct keyword research, create ad copy and optimize campaigns to improve performance - Analyze performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and growth - Manage budgets and bids to maximize ROI - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaigns align with overall business objectives - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices Work Environment Media Marketing Group: 3 members Marketing Department: around 70 members We are a tightknit group of individuals from various cultural backgrounds, ranging in age from 20s to 40s. Our main language of communication is Japanese + English.   Mandatory Qualifications: - 2+ years of performance marketing experience(such as Google, Facebook, Criteo, metasearch)   Desired Qualifications: - Experience in writing and using Python/SQL Others Information: Additional information on Location Rakuten Crimson House 1-14-1 Tamagawa, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo Additional information on English Qualification TOEIC score of 800 or higher (or proof of equivalent English proficiency, or proof of a graduate degree or higher from an English-speaking university) Proof of qualification is required by the time of notification of offer.
