Job Description: Business Overview The Rakuten Group's basic management philosophy is to "empower" people and society through innovation. Department Overview This position is expected to be transferred to Rakuten Total Solutions, Inc. (hereafter RTS) after being hired by Rakuten Group, Inc. RTS , established in 2023, is a shared services company (wholly owned subsidiary with 2,000 employees) within the Rakuten Group. RTS provides a total package of services related to company operations, including planning, start-up, consulting, management and execution of on-site operations, and preparation and operation of systems and infrastructure. RTS also has a rotation system with Rakuten Group, Inc. that allows for a wide range of career development in the area of finance and accounting. Position Details Shop Business Management Accounting We aim to optimize costs incurred throughout the Shop Business Division, which operates and manages Rakuten Mobile stores in order to improve profitability. To this end, we manage costs incurred in store operations, such as sales promotion, logistics, rent, and incentives, and optimize costs while involving stakeholders. Specifically - Contribute to the improvement of store profitability in Rakuten Mobile business. - Ensure/improve the quality of store operations. - Improve efficiency and automation of store management department operations. - Strengthening the organization within the department and promoting the growth of its members. Mandatory Qualifications: - Basic accounting knowledge (equivalent to level 2 bookkeeping) and interest in management accounting. - Over 3 years of practical experience in the accounting department. - Basic Office skills (Excel : VLOOKUP, IFS functions, etc. / Power Point : presentation materials using graphs, tables, etc.) - The ability to communicate effectively to smoothly carry out tasks with other departments, such as business divisions. - Business level Japanese language skills. Desired Qualifications: - Those who have practical experience in financial accounting.
