Department Overview "Rakuten Bic" is the first-party entity in the home appliance category of the Rakuten Group, established as a joint venture through the collaboration between Rakuten and Bic Camera. Position: Why We Hire To further expand our business, we are planning to strengthen our team by adding one new member. Position Details This position involves understanding the requirements and challenges of Rakuten Bic's business and development, and leading and driving initiatives in collaboration with UI/UX directors for the implementation and development aspects of building and improving services and products. (This role can also be considered as a director/product manager with a focus on implementation and development.) - Planning, requirements definition, design, and implementation direction for projects - Progress management and task prioritization for projects - Detailed design and specification formulation for A/B testing and content variation - Design and implementation for performance measurement, quantitative analysis, and reporting - File management and operations - QA and release tasks - Problem-solving in operations, systemization, and efficiency improvement Work Environment The department consists of 10 members, with a team structure of 4 in business and 6 in creative roles, comprising 8 men and 2 women. The team consists mostly of mid-career hires who leverage their previous experience and skills to develop and improve in-house services, aiming to provide customers with more convenient services. 　 Mandatory Qualifications: - Individuals who want to understand service challenges and user needs, take charge from planning to release, and directly experience business outcomes - Over 5 years of experience in web production/development direction - Direction of dynamic processing using APIs - Front-end development (HTML, CSS, JS) - Schedule management using tools like Backlog or JIRA Desired Qualifications: - Experience in file management using Git, and experience with release work - Implementation experience using libraries/frameworks like Vue - Experience with large-scale websites/apps and new feature development - Experience with member-based sites requiring login - Proven track record of developing sites/apps using agile/lean development processes and delivering results - Team management experience as a leader - Data extraction using SQL Others Information: Additional information on Location Rakuten Crimson House 1-14-1 Tamagawa, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo Additional information on Secondment Upon employment with Rakuten Group, Inc.
