Job Description: Department Overview The Information Security & Privacy Governance Department is a Department within the Technology Management Division, which is the shared technology organization of the Rakuten Group. The Information Security Management Office plays a central role in group information security governance within the Information Security & Privacy Governance Department, and is responsible for formulating Rakuten Group's information security policies, and for planning, operating, and promoting the information security governance system. Position: Position Details This position belongs to the Information Security Management Office within the Information Security & Privacy Governance Department. The Project Manager will be responsible for implementing security-related projects across Rakuten Group, Inc. and its group companies.   The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong project management expertise and excellent communication skills. While security knowledge is preferred, it is not required. The role requires managing multiple initiatives, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring clear, consistent, and engaging communication across all channels. Responsibilities/Duties - Project Management: Lead multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery. Define project scope, objectives, milestones effectively. - Stakeholder Engagement: Build and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to align project goals with communication needs. - Senior Management Reporting: Prepare and deliver concise, visually compelling reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key initiatives, progress, and challenges. - Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies, and escalate issues when necessary. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with IT and other teams to ensure effective project execution. Mandatory Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of experience as a project manager, ideally within a large, global organization. - Proven track record in managing internal and external communication strategies. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences. - Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint for creating impactful presentations. - Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional and diverse teams. - Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate challenges to drive projects forward. - English: Business Level (TOEIC Score 800 above or possess equivalent abilities). - Japanese: Native Level. Desired Qualifications: - Information security certifications (e.g., Information Security Specialist (IPA), CISSP, CISA, CompTIA Security+). - PMP or equivalent project management certifications. - Experience with Confluence, JIRA, or other project management tools. - Experience in planning and executing internal and external events. #business #informationsecurity #privacygovernance #technologymanagementdiv
