Job Description: Department Overview The Commerce & Marketing Technology Division is responsible for product management, development, and operations for various products including "Rakuten Ichiba" (our founding business), "Rakuten Fashion," "Rakuten Travel," "Rakuten GORA," and many others. You will drive sustained product growth by engaging in discussions with product planning and creative departments (marketers and designers) about product improvements and promoting product development. We are seeking to strengthen our personnel structure to provide stronger support to merchants and are looking for new ideas that are not bound by traditional approaches.   Position Details As a Product Manager for assigned products and features, you will: Clarify business and system requirements based on proposals from business units and create product specifications Identify improvement points based on various KPIs and feedback from users/clients, and create product specifications Create improvement roadmaps for assigned products and manage backlogs Communicate with a wide range of stakeholders to align understanding and drive projects forward Through this role, Product Managers are expected to showcase: Leadership skills to lead product improvements Ability to work with long-term plans in mind rather than focusing only on immediate concerns Ability to understand matters from a user perspective Critical thinking to identify the essence of matters Communication skills to coordinate with numerous stakeholders Ability to engage in healthy discussions within the team and advance matters without compromise This position offers the opportunity to develop various business skills including those mentioned above. Mandatory Qualifications: Communication skills to align understanding with various stakeholders Ability to overcome difficulties independently and achieve objectives Critical thinking to thoroughly analyze matters to their essence Integrity to persistently pursue improvements toward long-term goals Experience in requirements definition (3+ years, not limited to internet services) Desired Qualifications: Experience in product management for internet services Experience in analyzing product KPIs, implementing improvement measures, and growing products Experience in maximizing user experience Knowledge and experience as an engineer in internet services Knowledge and experience in project management Additional information on English Qualification In principle, a TOEIC score of 800 or above (or proof of equivalent English proficiency, or degree certificate from a university in an English-speaking country) If you do not have a score or certificate, we will guide you to take our company-sponsored TOEIC IP test during the selection process. #product #pdm #consultingsales #commerce #RakutenIchiba   Languages: Japanese (Overall - 4 - Fluent)
