Verifying packaged products are accurately reflected on the packaging labels. Effectively transporting and conveying raw materials from the storage area to the elevator and sending it to the hopper. Using a forklift in an accurate, safe, and efficient manner. Maintaining resin/additive levels in blenders and hoppers. Performing hopper/blender changeovers upon notification from production set-up. Effectively handling and documenting loose roll scrap for disposition as directed by the production supervisor. Setting up and operating production utility machinery per specifications. Adhering to Amcor Life Safety Rules and all safety policies and reporting all maintenance and safety issues immediately. Participating in continuous improvement of operations. Catching quality defects in finished goods. Continuously pursing the establishment and reinforcement of a high-performance work team environment. Maintaining good housekeeping practices and cleaning areas as needed. Performing and assisting in other tasks as directed by supervision/management. Qualifications/Requirements Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Skills/Experience: Manufacturing experience required. Proficient in forklift operation. Attention to detail and great organizational skills. Ability to troubleshoot, multitask, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to interface with employees at all levels within the facility. Personality/Attributes: Demonstrated passion for safety and continuous improvement. Desires to advance in the organization. Positive attitude, motivated, and strong communication skills. Reliable with a strong attendance record. Additional Requirements: This position requires the individual to work at the Chippewa Falls, WI facility and to be accessible to employees on a regular basis.
