Job Description:     The Sales Specialists Channel are our key channel contacts, supporting our partners and their customers in finding the right solution for their business needs. In parallel they are acting as a subject matter expert for our key solutions, building up the right level of knowledge at our partners to increase our joint business across all customer segments and driving sales activities to jointly increase our funnel. In a typical day in this role as Sales Specialist Channel - Storage & Data Services you Serve as a trusted advisor and Storage expert to selected Platinum and Gold Partners in Switzerland. Demonstrate business and sales leadership by building mutually beneficial relationships with the partner on all levels to grow HPE Storage market share. Drive Storage revenues, profitability, and pipeline by growing your assigned partner, implementing joint sales activities and data-driven sales efforts with the partner. Qualify and review new leads to drive sales opportunities to closure. Work with partners/ outside sales to ensure a smooth sales transaction. Manage all HPE resources as they relate to supporting the partner mission and communicates value of the solutions to better differentiate HPE from competitors. Build targeted sales pipeline and forecast data driven sales activities. Coordinate activities with the Partner, including sales cadence, education, proactive forecasting, business planning, and client engagements. If you have these Skills, Expertise, Attitude and Education… Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any field (preferably IT/economics) Typically, 10+ years of selling experience at end-user account or partner level Profound knowledge of HPE’s storage solutions and excellent skills to pitch our solutions in front of partners and customers Profound experience in developing positive relationships and solving customer problems Ability to look forward and anticipate partner needs, proactively forecasting sales quota and effectively bridging sales gaps Profound account management, acquisition, retention and development skills Proven track record in channel, partner, alliance management is clearly advantageous Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to prioritize and effectively meet deadlines Innovative mindset to think beyond proscribed solutions, and take proactive steps to advance HPE’s sales efforts Proficient usage skills in a CRM system to manage business relationships and the data and information associated with them Business fluent German language skills, plus excellent command of English Join us and make your mark!
