The DX Engineering Group provides consultation for DX solutions and AI, which are in high demand. We are involved in supporting everything from proposals to operations for Rakuten Mobile's contracted companies as well as Rakuten Group companies. Recruitment Background Due to business expansion, we are seeking talent who can drive Rakuten Mobile's DX solution engineering (including AI). Job Description ■ Job Summary You will be responsible for a series of tasks from selection and implementation to operation and maintenance of generative AI software, DX solutions via IoT devices, and DX solutions linked with various devices such as smartphones/tablets/PCs – all of which are indispensable for improving business productivity and are being adopted by companies across industries. We are looking for individuals who can play an active role in a wide range of phases, from proposing and supporting implementation to ensuring stable operation for customers. ■ Job Details 1.DX Solution Proposal to Implementation Management: Manage and coordinate the entire process from introduction to completion, ensuring that ordered devices and solutions are delivered on time, according to agreed specifications, and within budget. 2.Coordination and Collaboration with Internal and External Stakeholders: Work closely with internal teams such as planning, DX solution sales, and support, as well as external vendors, to ensure smooth project progress. 3."Rakuten AI" Implementation Support: Provide support for the implementation of "Rakuten AI" software solutions, which are at the core of DX solutions, based on specific customer requirements and demands. 4.Embedded Device Provisioning and Management: Perform provisioning (setup and preparation) and management of embedded devices for DX-related equipment (AI surveillance cameras, digital signage, etc.) bundled with Rakuten Mobile's communication. Also, support the selection of equipment and solutions chosen by Rakuten Mobile. 5.Customer Training, Documentation Provision, and Initial Setup Support: Provide training and documentation, and offer support for initial setup and configuration, with the goal of effective utilization of the introduced DX solutions. 6.Feedback for Product Improvement and Recommendations to Planning Team: Contribute to the continuous improvement of products and services by collecting information on customer needs and potential functional enhancements of solutions, and providing feedback to the planning team. 7.Language Usage: The majority of customer interactions and document creation will be in Japanese, as customers are Japanese companies, rather than English. Work Environment: The DX Engineering Section consists of 10 members, and the Embedded Services Team has 2 members. The team is composed of members with diverse backgrounds, not only from the IT and mobile industries, who contribute their expertise and experience to the department and projects. Therefore, individuals with experience in different industries can fully leverage their cultivated knowledge and skills in this new environment. Required Qualifications: ・Proven experience in building strong relationships of trust with clients, for example, through sales roles. ・Ability to manage schedules and experience in making proposals and handling business operations utilizing Excel and PowerPoint. ・Interest in IoT and DX solutions. ・Interest in promoting business improvement and efficiency together with companies that have implemented AI and DX solutions. ・Basic PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Preferred Qualifications (These are not mandatory requirements): ・Practical experience in selecting, introducing, supporting, or providing after-sales service for IoT devices, or technical sales experience in this field. ・Practical experience (approx. 3+ years) in negotiating and managing relationships with vendors handling IoT devices. ・Business-level English proficiency (TOEIC score of 800 or equivalent skill). ・Experience as a Project Manager in device development or DX solution development projects, or experience as an implementation lead for your department or company. ・Experience with process flow and operation flow design. ・Work experience in the IT/telecommunications industry. ・Experience in project planning and management. (Highly advantageous) Experience in proposing and supporting DX solutions from a consulting firm. (Highly advantageous) Experience in leading business efficiency improvements utilizing AI.
