The mission is to identify challenges and formulate strategies across the marketing domain of the entire Rakuten Group.     Key Characteristics of the Role   Leveraging Rakuten Group’s vast customer and purchase data, as well as user behavior data from web and app platforms, this role involves uncovering marketing opportunities and challenges and conducting data analysis to support the development of new marketing initiatives. The variety and scale of accessible data are unique to the cross-functional nature of the CMO Office. To enhance the resolution of user insights, qualitative research such as user interviews is also incorporated into the analysis.   Beyond data analysis, the scope of work is broad—another unique aspect of the CMO Office. You will have opportunities to engage in areas beyond traditional data analytics, such as planning marketing campaigns and implementing and operating marketing automation tools.     Main Responsibilities   1.
