Department Overview This position belongs to the Media Business within the Marketing-related businesses, which operates a lifestyle media platform with over 10 million monthly users. With the mission “Close to everyday life”, we deliver points-related content, news, and lifestyle information to provide users with a fun and valuable daily experience. The position is specifically responsible for the household budgeting and asset management app, which visualizes users’ financial flows in a fun way and supports them in saving money. This startup-like initiative launched the iOS version in April 2024 and plans to release the Android version in 2025. Attractions of the Role Since you will be handling a rapidly expanding app service with a small, elite team, you can work with a venture-like feeling within a large company. Position Details Because this is a small, high-performing team working on a rapidly growing app service, you will experience the venture-like environment of a startup while being part of a large company. We are seeking someone to maximize revenue by promoting media planning, forming business alliances, and creating marketing strategies using Rakuten Kakeibo’s unique assets such as its distribution channels and user transaction data. Key Responsibilities - Build business alliances with Rakuten Group services and external companies - Propose display advertising using Rakuten Kakeibo’s unique assets and data - Plan and execute affiliate marketing campaigns - Plan and promote client-sponsored campaigns - Conduct effectiveness analysis using Rakuten data after campaign execution and propose improvements - Set KPIs, manage progress, and commit to achieving targets Work Environment Organization structure - Team size: A small but elite team - Age group: mainly in their 30s - Ratio of new graduates to mid-career hires: new graduates (30%), mid-career (70%) Average overtime - Around 10–20 hours per month Mid-career backgrounds include - Web marketing planning - Solution-oriented corporate sales Mandatory Qualifications: - At least 1 year of experience in solution-oriented corporate sales - Understanding of advertising performance indicators (CTR, CVR, CPA, etc.) with the ability to propose improvements Desired Qualifications: - Ability to plan proposals utilizing AI/data to solve client marketing challenges - Ability to develop new segments and products using data Preferred qualities - Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal and external partners - Commitment to achieving goals - Strong numerical literacy and KPI management skills - Flexibility to adapt to environmental changes - Problem-solving ability - Proactive and able to take initiative with speed - Productivity-oriented working style - Logical thinking skills Other Information: Additional information on Location Futako Tamagawa Rise Office Additional information on English Qualification English Requirement: Yes *TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS, etc. *Details will be provided if you proceed to the selection process.
