Work closely with Leads and alert the Team Leader or Supervisor of any quality issues or reject conditions.  Timely response to quality issues is key to this position. Notify the Team Leader of any safety, machinery, raw material, quality, preventive maintenance, emergency maintenance, packaging or documentation concerns. Document information correctly on the reports for production and any downtime. Complete assembly of product by installing gaskets in lids and handles in containers as required while keeping up with the production machines cycles. Stack and pack product per instructions that vary with different customers and orders. Prepare proper product identification and/or packaging labels. When the machine experiences an interruption in production, utilize time to clean up oil, sweep, mop, make boxes or other tasks that may be assigned by the Shift Supervisor. Responsible for housekeeping within working area of assigned machine. Assist with training associates as needed. Various other duties as assigned.
