The Virtual Machine Platform Group is looking for people who are passionate about working on a global scale as Cloud Infrastructure Engineer s . To build out automation of critical service reliability and efficiency functions that ensure massively scaled, fault-tolerant, and globally distributed service for our end users. In collaboration with various departments, from platform to service levels, you will bring your expertise to the design of system architecture and build platforms that consider not only the application layer but also hardware, network, and middleware. Position Details - Design and deploy different clusters with large numbers of nodes, with consideration of running cost, redundancy, capacity, etc.  - Verify and introduce new solutions to improve functionality and performance - Standardization and automation of service management - Monitor, troubleshoot and maintain critical production environments Mandatory Qualifications: - Strong Linux/Unix system administrator skills - Experience in VMware environment (ESXi, vCenter Server) - Experience in Nutanix environment (AHV, AOS) - Understanding of virtualization and cloud computing - Proficiency in one or more of the following: Python, Shell scripting - Experience in automation and configuration management using Chef, Ansible, and Terraform - Experience with CI/CD tools (ex. Jenkins, CircleCI) - Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting incidents Desired Qualifications: - Experience with cloud platforms (ex. OpenStack, AWS, Azure, GCP) - Experience and working knowledge of IP networking systems and protocols - Web application development experience - Scrum Master, Project Manager Experience - Experience in service operations with Docker, Kubernetes - Over 5 years of experience in managing one of the following products: MySQL, Cassandra, Oracle, Couchbase, Hadoop, or Kafka #engineer #infrastructureengineer #technologyplatformdiv Languages: English (Overall - 3 - Advanced), Japanese (Overall - 3 - Advanced)
