AUSTRALIAN CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION: Yes RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: No relocation assistance available CLEARANCE TYPE: AU- Secret (NV1) TRAVEL: Yes, 10% of the Time Description Your Role:    Northrop Grumman Australia is entering an exciting phase of business growth and is looking for a Senior Subcontract Specialist experienced in Australian defense bid and tendering management to support the capture of exciting future business opportunities over the next 12 months. As t he Senior Subcontract   Specialist, you will deliver   optimal   sourcing and subcontract management outcomes to meet NGA business requirements. You will also   be responsible for :   Provide   expert guidance and counsel to NGA senior leaders and multi- disciplinary Subject Matter Experts   regarding   procurement and subcontract matters   Review and manage subcontractor performance in connection with agreed supplier management criteria   Ensure all records are appropriately documented and saved to the relevant NGA folder structure   Drive   continuous   improvement for the subcontract arrangement   Lead and coordinate negotiations with stakeholders to resolve subcontract conflicts and issues   This position is a temporary role for 12 months.   About You:    To be successful in this role, you will provide:   Tertiary qualification in Business and/or Law   Experience in a Senior Subcontract role or similar   commercial   role in Aerospace and Defence Industry    Knowledge with export controlled and security regulations    Proven commercial acumen with subcontract drafting experience and exposure to contract law     Knowledge of the flow down of ASDEFCON suite of contract documents       What we Offer:   We have built our benefits to help you define your possible.    18 weeks paid parental leave    Flexible Working Options including - Hybrid Working, 9-day Fortnights, Volunteer leave, Varying   start   and Finish times to suit your family needs.   2 Weeks Paid Reservist leave    Health, Wellbeing and Generous Employee discount programs   Additional   purchased annual and salary packaging   option     Ongoing career progression opportunities- leadership development, education support, ongoing career growth through internal movement    Who we are:   At Northrop Grumman Australia, we have been defining possible for the ADF for over 20 years.
