The group is divided into seven sections by business category, and is responsible for the overall financial accounting domain of each business and subsidiary. We are responsible for developing business processes by discussing with business stakeholders and other specialized departments such as legal affairs, general affairs, and marketing, in response to changes in various businesses and business environments, such as new service development and business restructuring. It is an organization that plays an important part in business management with high recognition and large social impact. Position: Why We Hire In order to continue to support the growth of the business, we are looking for members who may be active as central members of the accounting organization in the future and may be able to lead the organization as management. Position Details As a manager (candidate), you will manage the accounting organization, members, and tasks, perform accounting work yourself, and review members' work. In the case of staff, you will engage in your assigned accounting work. Main Responsibilities - Monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting processing for businesses belonging to the Commerce & Marketing Company - Accounting processing, tax processing, report preparation, etc. for subsidiaries - Management of accounts receivable and payable - Consideration of changes to accounting processing and accounting processes associated with new service launches and business process changes - Work related to the introduction of sales management systems and accounting systems - Promotion of DX for all accounting processes Work Environment - Commerce Accounting Department members: 90 people - Average overtime hours: approximately 20 hours/month *Rotation is implemented in conjunction with the Corporate Accounting and Finance Department of Rakuten Group Mandatory Qualifications: - Ability to close monthly accounts - Strong growth motivation and career goals in the accounting field - Experience in management work or willingness to take on challenges - Accounting knowledge equivalent to Bookkeeping Level 2 or higher - Basic skills in Excel, etc. - People with high goal awareness and willingness to take on challenges even if there are inexperienced areas Desired Qualifications: - Ability to close quarterly accounts - Experience in accounting DX or willingness to take on challenges in this area - Specialized knowledge of IFRS and taxation - Experience using SAP Other Information: Additional information on Location Rakuten Crimson House 1-14-1 Tamagawa, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo Additional information on English Qualification TOEIC score of 800 or higher (or proof of qualifications with equivalent English proficiency, or proof of a bachelor's degree or higher from an English-speaking country) Proof of qualifications is required by the time of the job offer notification.
