Department Overview This position belongs to the "Rakuten Marketing Japan Department" within the Ad & Media Company. The Rakuten Marketing Japan Department supports the business growth of EC/Fintech companies both within and outside the Rakuten Group by providing cutting-edge data-driven advertising solutions. It is a department with over 20 years of history, specializing in B2B digital marketing (primarily internet advertising), a rare field among Rakuten Group's more than 70 services. All employees are originally seconded from Rakuten Group, Inc., and are committed to the overall development of the Group, aiming to make the marketing business Rakuten's fourth pillar. Services handled by the department - Rakuten's marketing assets (data/media/various advertising menus/survey research) - Owned platforms (affiliate network/influencer network) - Solutions from overseas partners (exclusive domestic provision of cutting-edge global digital marketing solutions *through business alliances) And other unique solutions. Role of the department This position will be assigned to the sales department within the Rakuten Marketing Department, which is responsible for existing advertisers. Within the sales department, there are the following four teams, and you will be assigned based on your preferences and aptitude. - Team responsible for "Rakuten's EC businesses" - Team responsible for "Rakuten's FinTech businesses" - Team responsible for "major domestic and international EC companies" outside Rakuten - Team responsible for "domestic FinTech companies" outside Rakuten Position: Why We Hire We are increasing our headcount due to business expansion. Position Details You will propose and execute optimal solutions to clients' marketing challenges, leveraging our abundant product resources and cutting-edge technology. Specifically, your responsibilities will include. - Interviewing clients to understand their marketing challenges and formulating strategies and tactics to solve them. Examples: Increasing e-commerce sales, acquiring new customers, enhancing brand awareness, etc. - Collaborating with internal product/service departments (Data, Affiliate, Influencer, SNS, Google/Yahoo!, Creative, etc.) to create execution plans. Examples: Targeted advertising using Rakuten ID data, influencer marketing, affiliate advertising, SEO measures, etc. - Executing advertising operations, creative production, performance measurement, and proposing improvements based on the execution plan. - Sharing data-driven analysis results and proposing improvements during regular meetings with clients. - Participating in competitions and giving presentations as needed. - Actively addressing client challenges by utilizing AI and the latest industry technologies.
