Job Description: Business Overview The Rakuten Group's basic management philosophy is to "empower people and society through innovation". You'll engage with various business units, broadening your professional knowledge and expertise. Group-wide enhancement of the Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework and promotion of Business Continuity Plan (BCP) development. In our BCP Management Section, Corporate Service Department, activities are organized into the following two groups. We are recruiting members for the BCP Promotion Group. - BCP Promotion Group - Facilities BCP Group Position: Why We Hire Recruitment to fill a vacancy created by an employee’s resignation. Position Details You will build and enhance the BCM framework across the Rakuten Group, drive BCP development, and lead crisis response during emergencies. BCM Framework Development and BCP Promotion: - Coordinate with internal stakeholders to establish the crisis response framework and drive BCP development for critical operations. Analysis and Monitoring: - Monitor the status of BCP development across business units and group companies, and strengthen group-wide coordination mechanisms. Drill Planning and Execution: - Plan and conduct group-wide drills to validate and enhance the effectiveness of initial response capabilities and BCPs. Management for important committee: - Manage the BCP Subcommittee, set BCP-related agendas for the Group Risk & Compliance Committee, and report to senior management. Business Process Improvement: - Implement business process improvements using AI/RPA. Work Environment Our team consists of 6 members (2 in their 50s, 1 in their 40s and 3 in their 20s) Including those holding concurrent positions. It includes both mid-career and new graduate hires. Mandatory Qualifications: - Experience in BCP, risk management, internal audits, general affairs or other related work, or experience in corporate or back office work at a consulting firm, financial institution, or manufacturer. - Communication skills: coordination skills for negotiating with management and various other stakeholders, and teamwork skills to work within the department and with other departments. - English ability: Ability to coordinate proposals for negotiations with native speakers of overseas business. - Basic PC skills (such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.). - Problem-solving skills: research, analysis, planning, documentation and presentation skills. Desired Qualifications: - Experience in project promotion (structuring, management, communication with internal and external stakeholders, etc.). - Experience working in a global company is preferable.   Other Information: Additional information on Location Osaka Office (You may be assigned to work at Rakuten Crimson House (Futako-tamagawa) for 1 to 3 months after joining the company.) #corporate #HR #GA #CorporateCommunications #operationdiv
