Department Overview Commerce Accounting Department is the accounting department of the Commerce & Marketing Company. The group is divided into nine sections by business category, and is responsible for the overall financial accounting domain of each business and subsidiary. We are responsible for developing business processes by discussing with business stakeholders and other specialized departments such as legal affairs, general affairs, and marketing, in response to changes in various businesses and business environments, such as new service development and business restructuring. It is an organization that plays an important part in business management with high recognition and large social impact. Position: Why We Hire We are looking for management members who can support the growth of the organization and become the pillar of the organization as the central members of the accounting organization to continue supporting the growth of the business Position Details Manage the organization, members, and tasks of accounting as a senior manager (candidate). Main Responsibilities - Monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting processes for businesses belonging to the Commerce Company - Accounting processes, tax processes, report preparation, and other operations for subsidiaries - Management of accounts receivable and payable - Consideration of changes to accounting processes and accounting processes associated with new service launches and business process changes - Operations related to the introduction of sales management systems and accounting systems - Promotion of DX for all accounting processes Work Environment - Commerce Accounting Department has 83 members - Average overtime: approximately 20 hours/month * Rotation is implemented in conjunction with Rakuten Group's Corporate Accounting and Finance Department Mandatory Qualifications: - Management for financial accounting including monthly and quarterly financial results - Negotiate with business representatives, legal affairs, and other specialized departments on behalf of accounting - IFRS and tax expertise - DX experience, or willingness to challenge Desired Qualifications: - Experience in project management - Management experience for organizations with 10 or more people - SAP experience Other Information: Additional information on Location Rakuten Crimson House 1-14-1 Tamagawa, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo Additional information on English Qualification TOEIC score of 800 or above (or proof of qualifications with equivalent English proficiency, or proof of a bachelor's degree or higher from an English-speaking country) Proof of qualifications is required by the time of the job offer.
