Job Description: Business Overview The Rakuten Group's basic management philosophy is to "empower" people and society through innovation. Rakuten Group offers more than 70 diverse services, including the online shopping mall Rakuten Ichiba, e-commerce services such as the travel booking site Rakuten Travel, financial services such as Rakuten Bank, and professional sports. 　 Department Overview Your assignment will be to the Sourcing Operations Section, Procurement Operations Department, Rakuten Group, Inc. The Procurement Operations Department is responsible for procurement operations across the entire Rakuten Group. Within this department, the Sourcing Operations Section serves as the centralized sourcing function for the entire company, collaborating with business divisions to select and negotiate with suppliers. To advance centralized purchasing for the Tech Service group, we have formed a dedicated Tech Service Sourcing Team under the Sourcing Operations Section. We are recruiting a manager for this dedicated team. Tech Service primarily includes the following services (and may include other categories): 1) System Development Outsourcing 2) System Integration 3) Managed Services 4) Other Engineering Outsourcing Position: Why We Hire Promote Centralized Procurement for IT Professional Service Category 　 Position Details -Promote visibility of Group Tech Service costs and contracts -Lead planning and execution of Group Tech Service procurement strategy -Optimize Tech Service costs and drive cost reduction -Build relationships with key suppliers in the Tech Service domain -Lead collaboration with relevant departments Work Environment Around 80 people 　　 Mandatory Qualifications: -Individuals with experience in procurement/purchasing or related departments (approximately 10+ years) -Individuals with experience in purchasing activities within the outsourcing domain (approximately 5+ years) Desired Qualifications: -Experience in establishing and managing procurement rules -Experience in procurement activities within the telecom sector of the Tech Service category -Experience creating RFPs for outsourced procurement -Experience in global procurement -Business-level Japanese proficiency 　 Other Information: Additional information on Location Rakuten Crimson House 　 Additional information on English Qualification TOEIC Score 800 #corporate #procurement #operationdiv Languages: English (Overall - 3 - Advanced), Japanese (Overall - 4 - Fluent)
