Primary Details Time Type: Full time Worker Type: Employee Provide actuarial services to support our operations in the region. This includes reserving, reporting, portfolio management, pricing, renewals and technical analysis. Your New Role: Perform appropriate checks within processes to minimize inaccuracies. Comply with documentation of key processes and policies to ensure QBE and its divisions: Adhere to relevant Actuarial standards and good practice. Meet all internal reporting requirements. Assist analysis function in the business unit. Use tools and perform tasks to support the following Actuarial activities: Reserving. Portfolio Performance Monitoring. Pricing/Produce Support and Business Planning. Aggregate Management assistance. Any ad hoc work as required. Construct and maintain databases and rater models for benchmarking purposes, MI, reporting, consistency to support business analysis and planning. Research, collate, obtain and analyze statistical data for decision making/specific processes. Produce ad hoc reporting at short notice in response to queries from Underwriters, Managers and Actuaries. About You: General experience of working within the Actuarial function in a multinational financial services business. Understanding of industry practice in Actuarial analysis, modelling and underwriting. Effective communication. Able to persuade and influence both directly and indirectly. Able to work independently. Advanced Excel and other analytical tools. Good skills in the use and interpretation of numerical data. Ability to organize own work to meet deadlines and work within defines procedures.
