This role requires a keen understanding of market dynamics, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers. On a Typical Day You Will: Develop and Implement Sourcing Strategies: Identify and evaluate sourcing opportunities to drive cost savings and enhance supply chain efficiency. Supplier Management: Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, ensuring they meet company standards for quality, delivery, and cost. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to stay informed of industry trends, emerging suppliers, and market conditions. Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure advantageous terms for the company, including pricing, delivery, and service agreements. Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, such as Product Development, Quality Assurance, and Operations, to align sourcing strategies with business objectives. Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and supplier performance. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the sourcing function and implement best practices. What you will need to be successful: Bachelor’s degree in electrical or Electronics Engineering 10+ years of proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management on PCBA parts Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to analyze complex data and market trends. Proficiency in procurement software and tools. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
