Job Description: Business Overview The Technology Management Division (TMD) provides Corporate IT, and Cyber Security & Privacy Governance to Rakuten Group companies and essential business management for technology organizations, thereby enabling innovation and strengthening the technology foundation. Within TMD, the Technology Management Services Supervisory Department (TMSSD) plays a vital role in CIO Governance, IT financial management, IT procurement, Quality Management System (QMS), technology-related public relations, and human resources strategy. By promoting efficiency, quality, risk management, and organizational strength, we ensure that Tech Divisions remain agile and at the forefront of technological advancement. Department Overview The IT Strategy Department (ITSD) is responsible for formulating and executing Rakuten Group's overarching IT strategy. ITSD's core mission is to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services, optimize customer satisfaction, and effectively manage strategically important initiatives. The department is structured into four key units: the CIO Office, IT governance, Quality Management, and Tech PR ITSD's responsibilities encompass the oversight of group-wide and tech community wide initiatives. Position: Why We Hire To further accelerate these initiatives, we are looking for a Generalist to support a Senior Manager within the IT Strategy Department. This role will contribute to a wide range of tasks related to IT governance and development promotion. Position Details Working directly under the Senior Manager of the IT Strategy Department, you will undertake a wide range of responsibilities, primarily focusing on the following: Support for IT Governance Promotion: - Assist in the operation of various IT governance meetings, including coordination with the Group CIO (e.g., preparing materials, taking minutes, managing progress). - Support the formulation and revision of IT policies and regulations, and assist in their deployment across the group. - Support information gathering and analysis related to IT risk management and compliance. - Assist with IT audit responses.   Support for Development Productivity Improvement & Development Tool Standardization: - Assist in current state analysis and problem identification for improving development productivity. - Support information gathering and comparative analysis for the introduction and standardization of development tools. - Assist with project progress management and issue management. - Coordinate and liaise with relevant departments. Information Organization & Document Creation: - Collect, organize, and analyze information related to various projects. - Assist in the creation of meeting materials, reports, and proposals (including drafting initial versions). - Support data aggregation and visualization through charts and graphs. Other Administrative Tasks: - Support the Senior Manager's smooth operation by scheduling appointments, arranging business trips, etc. - Handle various departmental coordination and general administrative duties. Mandatory Qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience in IT industry. - Strong interest in the IT field and a desire to build a career in the IT industry. - Possess logical thinking skills and the ability to organize complex information and communicate it clearly. - Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office operations (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). - High proficiency in Japanese communication (reading, writing, and speaking). Desired Qualifications: - Experience in IT-related projects (any scale). - Basic knowledge of IT governance, information security, and system development. - IT-related certifications such as COBIT, IT Passport, ITIL Foundation.   #corporate #technologymanagement #technologymanagementdiv
