Job Description: Department Overview Rakuten Group's mission is to "Empower people and society through innovation". The Business Support Development Department (BSD) plays a crucial role in providing system support for various operations between users, clients, and Rakuten businesses. Our department provides diverse services across three main areas: DATA, Business Support/Accounting, and CRM. We strive to ensure the highest quality standards in system delivery and support while pursuing business process optimization and efficiency. Our team sets goals, monitors continuously, and evaluates for the quality at services in BSD. And deliver quality that exceeds user expectations through talent development and implementing improvement measures as needed. Position: Why We Hire With business growth, we are receiving more and more requests from the business side. We are looking for a Salesforce Engineer who can lead our activities from requirement analysis, application design, development, and troubleshooting to enhance the Salesforce team's performance. In this position, you will be able to lead the expansion of Salesforce usage and cooperate with other development teams to make a good system integration. 　 Position Details As a Senior Engineer, you will be in charge of developing, enhancing, and maintaining the applications and continuously improving the system as the business keeps updating and integrating with other internal systems. In the future, you will also be expected to take on people management responsibilities. Responsibilities  - Analyzing users' requirements and providing system solutions  - Designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications and related tools  - Testing the stability and functionality of the application  - Troubleshooting and fixing bugs  - Maintaining the security and integrity of the application software              　 Mandatory Qualifications: - Extensive experience in Salesforce platform development and implementation (3+ years) - Deep expertise and practical experience in Apex development - Experience in designing and developing integrations between Salesforce and external systems - Profound knowledge and practical experience in Salesforce system operation and maintenance - Analytical and requirements definition skills to drive business problem-solving - Excellent technical design skills and solution proposal capabilities - Communication skills that energize the team, along with an open-minded and collaborative spirit - Language:Japanese and English are Business level 　 Desired Qualifications: - Experience as an Engineering Lead or in Project Management - Experience in modern backend development (especially Java, Spring Framework) - Frontend UI development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) - Development and operation experience in Unix/Linux environments, including shell scripting - Practical experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) - Strong sense of ownership and the ability to act autonomously 　 Other Information: Additional information on Location Tokyo and Osaka Offices 　 Additional information on English Qualification TOEIC Score 800 or above or possess equivalent abilities #engineer #CRM #productmanager  #commerce  #RakutenIchiba Languages: English (Overall - 3 - Advanced), Japanese (Overall - 4 - Fluent)
