We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Financial Controller to work in our Finance Division. In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis, and advisory services of the Firm’s financial and capital resources. The Transfer Pricing Control Group is responsible for ensuring accuracy and quality assurance of the transfer pricing calculations. The team provides subject matter expertise as questions arise from various stakeholder groups. In addition, the team has been spearheading a number of global projects to streamline the process. The role is unique in that it provides transparency into all of the businesses the firm engages in, across the different jurisdictions. What you’ll do in the role Have visibility over the transfer pricing policy of the company and controllership of the related transactions posted during month end Participate in running various scenarios on the transfer pricing models to determine impact of changes to the business Coordinate with Transfer Pricing Tax, Legal Entity and Business Unit Controllers globally Plan, organize, and lead the completion of projects for transfer pricing Establish timeline of projects to ensure tasks are finished within the confines of the assignment while monitoring progression of the tasks Ensure comprehensive documentation of requirements, assumptions, changes in scope etc. Enable appropriate escalation of any item that may impact timely delivery or cause a change to the agreed scope of project Ensure effective communication and reporting to functional teams, manager, stakeholders, and senior leadership Independently identify opportunities to drive project/ programs forward What you’ll bring to the role Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field and 4-5 years of experience Strong communication and PC skills (Microsoft Excel) Ability to interact cross regions, to coordinate, prioritize and manage multiple activities Solid analytical skills Attention to details Self-motivated personality with ability to work as an effective team member #LI-MB1 #BPACC #LI-hybrid WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.
