This role is part of Alcon's Supply Chain function, a team that manages the logistics, inventory management, and supply chain analytics for Alcon's industry leading products to ensure products are delivered efficiently and effectively so that people can see brilliantly. The Sr. Associate, Supply Chain Planning (Professional Path), is primarily responsible for optimizing supply chain outcomes through specialized tasks and independent research. You will gather demand information, analyze trends, adjust production schedules, manage inventory, and coordinate with procurement for timely materials. Key Responsibilities : Should have experience in SAP MM. Gather demand information, analyze trends, and adjust production schedules. Manage inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess. Coordinate with procurement for timely material availability and secure materials while maintaining supplier relationships . Align with production schedules. Make decisions within the scope of assigned tasks using advanced knowledge and analytical skills. Handle more complex and senior-level tasks compared to Sr. Associate II. Adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring quality control, and completing required training . Meet individual job requirements and contribute to organizational compliance. Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
