This strategic and inquisitive person will develop and run with data-centered projects. In keeping with this overarching aim, the data scientist will be required to outline work requirements, provide guidance to the team on active projects, and harness their mastery of Data Science to consult on high value, high visibility use cases. General Information Technology work involves managing or performing work across multiple areas of an organization’s overall IT Platform/Infrastructure including analysis, development, and administration of: • IT Systems Software, Hardware, and Databases • Data & Voice Networks • Data Processing Operations • End User Technology & Software Support Conducts cost/benefit analyses for proposed IT projects as input to the organization’s IT roadmap. Key Responsibilities: Identify operational problems and improvement opportunities using quantitative methods and business analysis. Gather, clean and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources. Develop mathematical, statistical and Machine Learning models to support decision making. Create and validate decision support tools and automated analytics solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and implement data-driven recommendations. Prepare visualizations, reports and presentations to clearly communicate insights to stakeholders. Monitor implemented solutions and continuously refine models based on real-world performance. Key Requirements/Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (B-Tech.+ 2-3 yrs or MSc/M-Tech/MBA +1 yrs) in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics or related field Strong proficiency in Mathematical Optimization Models (e.g., Linear Programing, Integer programming, Meta-Heuristics) and Machine Learning techniques. Strong proficiency in programming languages including Python and SQL. Experience with mathematical solver, such as CPLEX or Gurobi . Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI, etc. Experience with using cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to translate technical insights into actionable business recommendations The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English Experience managing data pipelines and model maintenance and registry.
