Scheduled Weekly Hours: 28 RN, Registered Nurse | Clinic Float Pool Primary Location: La Crosse, WI Secondary Locations:  Onalaska and regional clinics (travel tailored to home location whenever possible) FTE: 0.7 (Part-Time, 56 hours per two weeks) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | No weekends, holidays, or on-call obligations About the Role As a Clinic Float Pool RN, you’ll play a vital role in supporting patient care across multiple ambulatory departments, including primary care and specialty care areas . Float Pool nurses are deployed to departments that need immediate staffing support to help teams maintain seamless operations and uninterrupted patient care. Expect meaningful variety, flexibility, and learning across specialties. The Clinic Float Pool is a strong group of 30 RNs and 20 MAs that values connection, support, and teamwork.  Why Join Us? Consistent Hours:  Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM No Weekends or Holidays Float Pool Differential:  $2.50/hour Starting Pay:  $30.46/hour (plus experience-based increases) Growth & Variety: Exposure to 4–6 departments in your first year Supportive Team Culture:  Frequent huddles, mentorship, and a “we’ve got this” mindset—even on the toughest days What You’ll Do Deliver evidence-based nursing care for diverse ambulatory patient populations Help ensure patients receive exceptional care through phone triage, MyChart communication, medication refills, and occasional procedures Adapt to daily department assignments based on organizational needs Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth daily operations  What You’ll Need Required: Associate Degree in Nursing RN license to practice in Wisconsin upon hire RN license to practice in Minnesota and Iowa within 3 months of hire Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing 6 months of previous nursing experience Ideal Candidate Profile Flexibility & Adaptability: Comfortable working in multiple departments and adjusting to daily changes Strong Communication Skills:  Ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with teams Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving:  Anticipates needs, prioritizes effectively, and navigates multiple systems Positive Attitude & Team Spirit:  Thrives in a fast-paced environment and contributes to a supportive team culture Willingness to Learn: Open to gaining experience across various specialties and patient populations Ready to join a team that values growth, flexibility, and collaboration—while making an immediate impact where it’s needed most?
