Job Description: Business Overview The Marketing Division leads the brand, creative, marketing, and membership areas as a cross-functional organization within the Rakuten Group, which has over 70 services. Our mission is to expand the membership value and ecosystem of the Rakuten Group. 　 Department Overview The Group Marketing Governance Department establishes rules and standards to ensure that marketing activities are conducted appropriately and safely, aiming for the continuous growth of the Rakuten Group. We collaborate with marketing heads and marketers from each business, as well as governance and quality management departments, to promote the efficiency and optimization of marketing activities across the entire group. Position: Why We Hire We are looking for team members to join us in strengthening marketing governance and improving its operations to support the further growth of the Rakuten Group. 　 Position Details You will be responsible for overall marketing governance tasks. This is a rewarding job where you can engage with a variety of businesses and services, contributing to the medium- and long-term development and expansion of the Rakuten Group. - Building and improving the framework for marketing governance - Promoting awareness and conducting educational activities related to marketing governance - Evaluating and mitigating risks in marketing activities, and supporting improvement initiatives - Establishing policies and group control for marketing activities during emergencies - Collecting information on both offensive and defensive aspects of marketing activities, sharing it within the internal community, and managing important meetings Mandatory Qualifications: - Communication and negotiation skills to carry out work with various stakeholders - Able to think independently and act quickly even in a rapidly changing environment and situation - Ability to analyze data using Excel, etc., and prepare documents using PowerPoint - Native-level Japanese proficiency 　 Desired Qualifications: - Experience in planning and implementing plans related to the entire company - Experience in planning and implementing governance and internal controls - Business-level English proficiency
