We are looking for a Compute Presales Consultant who can challenge our HPE Channel partner’s current technical approach, translate requirements into solutions and work hand-in-hand with the Compute Sales Specialists and Partner Business Manager (PBM). As Compute Presales Consultant for Channel Partners you: Engage with focus channel partners (Gold and Platinum level) to understand their business and technical understanding. Align HPE and Channel Partner’s strategy to move forward joined Compute business. Technically enable Partners on our key Compute solutions, products and initiatives. Deliver compelling presentations and demos addressing specific customer pain points, requirements, and expectations - linking the technical features of our solutions with tangible benefits, helping channel partners to explain the HPE’s value add. Develop and maintain long-term relationships channel partners– acting as a trusted advisor guiding them on products and solutions to best meet their needs, highlighting technical alternatives and possible shortcomings. Collaborate with account teams both at HPE and Channel Partner to pursue strategically opportunity, respond to tenders, develop strategies to counter competitive threats, and design and size solutions. If you have these Skills, Expertise, Attitude and Education… Technical Bachelor’s degree. (Master's or advanced degree in technology preferred.) + 5 years of experience in IT with a focus on technical consulting Sales-oriented technology professional who can combine deep technical skills with excellent business acumen to motivate customers to follow you on a transformational journey Demonstrate technical skills in Compute solutions Knowledge of adjacent technologies like virtualization, networking, public cloud and industry certifications from e.g. HPE, VM Essentials, Veeam, Azure, AWS etc., are a plus. Good consultative selling techniques such as active listening, framing, white boarding, storytelling.
