Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector is looking for a Engineering Technician - Level 3 to join the Mechanical Engineering team within Launch Vehicles at the Chandler, AZ facility. Essential Functions: Processing of engineering analysis and drawings, tracking hardware procurement, and assistance of integration of hardware. Assisting with procurement process Expense processing Task scheduling/processing Additional duties assigned as needed Basic Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience Ability to obtain a US DoD Secret security clearance Experience working with Microsoft productivity software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) Ability to multi-task and process information from multiple sources Responsive and motivated in task completion Ability to track schedule and budget of assignments Preferred Qualifications: Active US DoD Secret Security clearance, or higher at the time of application Exposure to or familiarity with Lean Engineering environment (Scrum, Agile, Jira, etc) Past experience in engineering industry Familiarity with PLM software (Teamcenter) Exposure to engineering analysis and drawings in past experience Hands-on experience with hardware Experience managing schedules (MS Project) Tracking hardware, working with procurement and vendors Good verbal and written communication skills Expertise in Microsoft Excel (back-end programming, database processing, pivot tables, etc.) Primary Level Salary Range: $57,500.00 - $95,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
