ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The selected candidate will play a key role in supporting the design, programming, assembly, installation, and support of automation projects throughout Amcor Plastics Corporation. Ideal candidate will have strong background in automation and mechanical hands-on experience. This person will be the project technical lead and may be responsible for some project management activities. RESPONSIBILITIES: ·        Assist with building and programming on new and rebuilt equipment. ·         Follow mechanical and electrical prints ·         Trouble shoot mechanical and electrical equipment ·         Responsible for adherence to all company, industry, and regulatory procedures ·         Responsible for participating in post project review ·         Maintain and enforce all company safety, environment and Department of Health requirements Qualifications: ·         Two year degree in automation, manufacturing, or proven hands on control experience. ·         Proven experience in PLC logic and programming and development of HMIs. ·         Knowledge of Set up and communications of AC drives preferred ·         Good Mechanical aptitude. ·         Ability and desire to learn new technologies. ·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ·         Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
