Job Description: Business Overview   The Technology Platforms Division (TPD) drives the growth of the Rakuten Ecosystem by delivering innovative, high-quality technology platforms characterized by integrated control and strategic partnerships. Within TPD, the Telecom Business Application Supervisory Department (TBASD) develops and maintains a unified, high-quality Business Support System (BSS) for Rakuten Mobile. We deliver agile, scalable solutions across the customer lifecycle and continuously enhance system performance through close collaboration with stakeholders. Department Overview The Business Support System Product Management Department (BSPMD) is responsible for providing a unified product strategy for the Business Support System (BSS) that integrates with the Rakuten ecosystem to maximize Rakuten Mobile's business potential. Our core missions are managing the product development lifecycle by focusing on project ROI, building a unified BSS platform, and enhancing our AI-driven platform capabilities. Position Details As a team lead for the QA Section, your responsibilities will be as follows: - L ead the QA team and manage BSS software development projects as a QA Engineer. - Identify Kaizen (improvement) areas for the team and across other teams/functions, drive Kaizen culture within the team. - Communicate with group members and other managers to share and discuss QA strategy, planning, and issues. - Take responsibility for overall QA planning, project progress monitoring, task risk identification, and provide improvement suggestions. - Ensure that all QA deliverables meet quality standards and criteria as defined by QA team. - Ensure that the team provides high visibility on project status, issues, and best practices. - Create metrics for analyzing overall QA projects and cost. Mandatory Qualifications: - Experience in a quality management role for the software development lifecycle (3-5 years +). - Experience in a project management role, ideally as a QA Lead in an IT-related field (1 year +). - Experience developing test strategies, test planning, and test scheduling. - Experience initiating and implementing improvement actions for team development. Desired Qualifications: - Experience working on web service and/or BSS application development projects. - Experience with Agile development. - Experience managing multiple vendors and an ability to organize, manage, and resolve simultaneous issues/roadblocks across different vendors. - ISTQB FL certification.
