Salary : Competitive - to be discussed at interview Hours : 45 hours per week - Monday to Friday 7am-4.30pm (30mins unpaid break) Base Location - Based at Ockendon, Medebridge Road, Grays, Essex, RM16 5TZ. Travelling to sites around the South East area (3 sites in Kent). No prior experience is required as you will be given training and mentoring on the job. We're looking for a conscientious and diligent individual who wants to make a difference to the environment. Duties include: Assist the aftercare team with the environmental monitoring and management of water, gas & leachate on closed and open landfill sites Compile reports and data to be submitted to the compliance team in accordance with environment agency and permit requirements You will be involved in the general maintenance of landfill infrastructure and learn multiple practical skills Identify, analyse and correct problems as and when they arise and carry out projects relevant to the management of the sites What we're looking for; A minimum of 4 GCSEs Grade 4/C (or equivalent) achieved or predicted including Maths & English A full clean UK Driving Licence  Must enjoy travelling to our sites and working outdoors.
