Together we can influence the world around us to make life and work better.     Ferring+You   You will manage a team of 5–7 ETL   external   developers (mostly remote / outside Portugal) and  operate  in a global environment with highly distributed functional teams across multiple countries and time zones.    You will actively  participate  in the validation and design of integration architectures, focused on ETL. A solid understanding of integration patterns, integration toolsets, and common integration anti-patterns is  required . Security and  GxP  considerations are fundamental and embedded across all aspects of your work.    You are expected to coordinate effectively with internal teams as well as nearshore and offshore partners, ensuring alignment, clear communication, and smooth delivery across organizational boundaries.        Your day   at   Ferring   Lead and manage the ETL team within the Enterprise Integration function   Provide technical leadership, mentoring, performance reviews, and development plans   Own and administer Informatica IICS/IDMC and PowerCenter platforms   Oversee configuration, upgrades, patching, capacity, security, and platform health   Ensure compliance with data governance,   GxP , validation, and pharma regulations   Coordinate vendors, licensing, support, and platform roadmap with IT and business   Design, build, and   optimize   complex ETL pipelines using Informatica   Translate business and data requirements into scalable, efficient integration solutions   Perform code reviews and enforce development standards   and best practices   Troubleshoot data quality, performance, and integration issues   Support project delivery, system enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives     Behind our innovation… There’s   you   Bachelors   degree in Information Technology , Computer Science,   Engineering   or related field.   S trong   technical   hands-on experience with both development and operations is necessary     At least 10+ years of hands-on ETL development with Informatica  Powercenter  and 5+ years with IICS/IDMC    Strong SQL skills   with Oracle, SQL Server, or other major RDBMS    Experience with system administration, platform management, or Informatica DevOps    Experience in pharmaceutical or other  GxP -regulated environments  highly  desirable    Solid understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and integration patterns    Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and sense of ownership    Working experience with agile  methodology  and frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban     Ability to manage priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environmen t   Strong English communication skills   to  optimize  interaction between cross functional, business and Enterprise Landscape Integration teams     People come first at Ferring   Get inspired from our commitment to advocate for   everyone’s   right to build a family, no matter who you are, where you live or who you love   Our inclusive support package – “Building Families at Ferring” provides equal and accessible policies for all employees who wish to start their family journey, ensuring a global standard, irrespective of location and role   Parental leave for both birthing and non-birthing parents   Extended support on family building journey       Making a difference in the lives of millions of people means we succeed by working together.
