This role requires a visionary leader with a strong background in data management, analytics, and team leadership. The Director will work closely with various departments to ensure data integrity, optimize data usage, and drive business insights. Key Responsibilities: · Lead and manage a team of data professionals, including data scientists, data engineers, and analysts. · Develop and implement the data and analytics strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. · Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data infrastructure and analytics platforms. · Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and deliver actionable insights. · Drive the adoption of advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI technologies. · Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the company at the forefront of data innovation. · Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships related to data and analytics initiatives. · Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders. Qualifications: · Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. · Proven experience in a senior data and analytics role, with a track record of successful project delivery. · Strong leadership and team management skills. · Expertise in data management, data warehousing, and data governance. · Proficiency in analytics tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, etc. · Excellent communication and presentation skills. · Ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies. · Experience with cloud-based data platforms and big data technologies is required (ideally Azure, DataBricks). Preferred Skills: · Experience in the industry relevant to your company (e.g., finance, healthcare, retail). · Certifications in data management or analytics (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate).
