Job Description Albemarle seeks a talented Master Data Coordinator to join its Master Data Management team within Global Business Services. This position works within a Master Data team that is geographically dispersed and collaborates with Data Partners to build and   operate   sustainable processes and services to deliver trusted quality Master Data fit for business processes and reporting.   We are a global operation with regional presence and   seek   to care and sustain the Customer, Vendor, Material, and Finance Master Data for which we are responsible   in systems including SAP, Salesforce.com, and Workday.     The Master Data Coordinator   has   daily operation responsibility to   manage global   master data requests to deliver trusted and   timely   data across various master data domains to the Albemarle enterprise.   This role reports to the Master Data Team Lead within Global Business Services and is governed by policies and frameworks   established   by Albemarle.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities/Functional     Execute Master Data creations and changes for materials, customers, vendors, and other types of master data as may be   required   Daily attention to efficiency and timeliness of process to achieve service level agreements with data owners to ensure consistent and expected performance achieved   Provide first line support on operational master data processes to cross functional departments   participating   in requests   Perform data quality checks for correctness and completeness according to defined business rules   Identify   and correct minor issues with the processes or tools in   a timely   and collaborative manner   Troubleshoot, research, and understand the correlation of data in day-to-day operations   Resource for user community on process and data requirements    Build and   maintain   effective working relationships with master data customers    Work collaboratively with   Business Process   Master Data Stewards to implement process and data improvements based on analytics and trends from data governance evaluations to support shared responsibility for high quality data   Resource for data projects through coordination of Mass updates within affected Masters   Fully test any changes related to process improvement, enhancements,   extensions,   or environment changes to ensure seamless implementation   Participates   in developing   and   updating   process documentation and training materials   Generate ad hoc master data reports   Embody Albemarle’s Core Values of Care, Curiosity,   Accountability , Collaboration, Humility, Integrity ,   and Transparency   in daily work and interactions within and beyond our   team     ADDITIONAL SKILLS, CAPABILITIES, AND EXPERIENCE      Candidates must have the following experience or working knowledge - -    Detail Oriented   Customer service mindset   Efficient   Listen   to others to respond effectively to ideas and questions   Team player    Proactive   Effectively prioritizes tasks    Data driven to address partner and customer needs   Curiosity   to   understand   business processes   supported by various master data domains   (Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance)   Ability to work comfortably with internal regional and global customers   Ability to influence internal ,   regional ,   and global customers     Proven written and verbal communication skills   Advanced   English   written and verbal communication skills    Expert User of MS Excel, Proficient User of Word, PowerPoint   SAP Experience   Other language knowledge ( Chinese,   Spanish, German   - - Advantage)     Education/Qualifications   College or University degree   (desirable)   2   –   4   years of experience in Master Data, Customer Service, Manufacturing or Supply Chain        Benefits of Joining Albemarle Competitive compensation Comprehensive benefits package A diverse array of resources to support you professionally and personally.
