Role Type Permanent What you'll be doing: As a GBS Accountant at Avon, you'll play a key role in ensuring our financial records are accurate, complete, and aligned with global standards. You'll be part of a collaborative team that supports multiple markets, helping us close each month with precision and insight. Your work will contribute directly to the integrity of our financial reporting and the smooth running of our operations. From journal entries to reconciliations, you'll be involved in the full accounting cycle, making a real impact every day. Key responsibilities: What you'll be working on: Preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations Month-end closing activities under IFRS Managing COGS calculations and pension plan reporting Handling accruals, adjustments, and debt aging analysis Processing invoices, payments, and expense reports Supporting fixed assets management and employee account reconciliations Collaborating with internal teams and sharing knowledge across the group What we're looking for: A degree in accounting or a related financial discipline Around 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, auditing, or reporting Solid understanding of IFRS and internal controls Strong Excel and accounting system skills (e.g. PeopleSoft, ERP systems) Fluent English communication skills Experience in a Big 4 firm is a plus Why Avon?
