When considering candidates, we look for scientific and business professionals who are highly motivated, collaborative, and most importantly, share our passionate interest in fighting cancer.   General Description:   Serve as the site Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Electrical, Fire, and Elevator systems.  Provide engineering support for projects, maintain equipment, and ensure vendor contracts are in place.  Develop and maintain engineering processes and procedures aligned with regulatory and quality standards.  Ensure compliance with NFPA, NEC, OSHA, and company standards.  This role is based in Hopewell, NJ and reports to the Associate Director, Utilities and Facility. Essential Functions of the Job: Meet BeOne business needs through managing the engineering with focus on enabling compliant and operational ready. Manage Electrical, Fire and Elevator systems to for compliance and continuous operation.  Interact with local and state officials where required. Develop technical, operational procedures, calibration plans, preventative maintenance plans for responsible systems Commission, qualify and validate responsible systems Manage external partners and vendor relationships Manage the responsible assets of buildings & facility, including preventive maintenance, critical spare parts, scheduling, etc. Ensure positive stakeholder relationships and solicit user feedback Demonstrate leadership aligned with company values; integrity, courage, passion, promote engagement and professional development Proficient in Sub Stations, Switch Gear and Medium / Low Voltage distribution Perform other duties as assigned Education / Experience Required: Bachelor's degree with 5 years' experience in facility and engineering roles especially those related to biological products, equipment, and electrical systems Experience in managing projects and ensuring deliverables are on time and on budget Electrical Engineer is preferred Computer Skills: Strong PC literacy required; MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project). Actual compensation packages are determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Packages may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
